Multidisciplinary artist & Educator
Cecilia Slongo is a multidisciplinary artist, and educator rooted in dance practices and experimental film from Argentina based in Los Angeles. She obtained a BA in Dance from the University of California, Riverside. Her practice focuses on the body as an active source of knowledge and memory and as a powerful activator of change. Her Solo film Persequī has been shown at many film festivals such as the Toronto International Women Film Festival (2021) and Berlin International Art Film Festival (2021). She obtained a Fulbright Scholarship in 2023 based in Bénin, where she conducted an open research in multimedia practices, traditional dances and music. Her latest work Les Voix du Guèlèdé (2024-25), was selected for the residency “Inspiration Bénin: Au cœur des mondes Africains” launched by the French Institute of Benin, and the French Embassy of Benin.

Dancer, Choreographer & Educator
Orphée Georgah AHEHEHINNOU is a Beninese dancer, choreographer and educator whose work explores the connections between his ancestral heritage and contemporary creation. Orphée completed his professional training in Contemporary and Traditional Dance forms at Ecole des Sables, in Senegal (2018-2021). In 2019 Multicorps Dance Company toured in France with the piece “Dide” choreographed by Marcel GBEFFA in collaboration with artist Sarah Trouche (France). In 2023/24 Orphée was selected as a dancer in the residency “T(h*)ree” by ANIKAYA Dance Theater based in Boston, under the direction of Wendy Jehlen and Eric Raynaud (France). This project is supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Boston Center of the Arts among other renowned Institutions. Also in 2023, he presented his solo “Ibere” at the French Institute in Benin. He is currently developing an artistic approach that combines education, performance, and transmission, sharing his Beninese and African knowledge through his creative practice.
